Functions:
1) Cell activation:
Perform cell activation on the state of online floating charge or offline. Users should set up activation and cycling times, single-activation
     

charge time, protective voltage parameters before activation; it can display battery voltage, charge/discharge current, charge/discharge capacity, charge/discharge time and etc; users can set up activation cycling and also stop the activation manually.
2) Cell check discharge:
Perform constant current discharge for cell. Users should set up discharge time, discharge capacity, cut-off voltage and etc before discharge; it can display discharge current, battery discharged capacity, battery voltage, discharge time and etc; users can manually stop the discharge.
3) Cell charge:
When the battery is on the state of online floating charge or offline, it can perform automatic charge for battery, users should set up charge current, charge time, cut-off voltage and etc, the instrument can display charge current, battery charged capacity, battery voltage, charge time and etc; users can manually stop the discharge.

Features:

Description
The IVT battery sensor measures a
battery's current (I), voltage (V), and
temperature (T). A robust 100 micro-ohm
shunt is used to measure the current while
providing low voltage drop and significant
current carrying capacity. The sensor
features a Local Interconnect Network (LIN) or Controller Area Network (CAN)

     

interface for data and diagnostic communication.

Typical Application
Most battery management systems require calculation of battery state of charge (SOC) and may also require battery state of health (SOH). The IVT accurately measures the current into and out of the battery as well as the battery voltage and battery temperature to enable reliable
and accurate SOC and SOH calculation. When the IVT sensor is integrated into a vehicle along with active battery management, the system can deliver improved fuel economy, increased battery life, and increased energy system availability. Battery management reduces fuel consumption when the IVT/Battery management system is equipped with alternator voltage
output control as part of the system.

Performance Advantages
While the vehicle is running, the IVT battery sensor accurately measures the charge and discharge of the battery so the SOC can be continuously updated. Controlling and maintaining the SOC helps reduce fuel consumption and extend the battery life. In addition, SOC and SOH
