The MAXI-Life Pulse® is a "Re-activator" beyond a conventional PWM*.
Pulse Wide Modulation (PWM) technology is the precursor since World War II for reversing sulfate accumulation in all lead batteries and it prevents sulfating from ever developing in new batteries. When a lead acid battery discharges or remains inactive or neglected, lead sulfate forms on the battery plates.

 |
Over a short period of time, sulfate gradually accumulates and crystallizes clogging the plates to the point where the battery will not accept or hold a charge. By pulsing a carefully controlled DC current into the battery, it re-energizes crystallized sulfates deposited on the plates and returns them to the electrolyte as active sulfur molecules. A battery remains on clean plates and strong electrolyte to both receive charging current and offer discharge current.

Battery
theory states that cell voltage should read
2.45 volts per cell (i.e. 14.7 volts in the
case of a nominal 12 volt battery) from time
to time to allow the negative plate to "form." With
the addition of PULSE technology, the system
voltage will recover to over 13 volts, and
the momentary pulsing will raise cell voltages
to over 15.5 volts. This momentary continuous
pulse voltage in excess of 15.5 volts removes
sulfation, "forms" the negative plate,
and allows the battery to be maintained in
optimum condition.

| How It Works |
 |
| |
An electronically controlled pulse a heartbeat - is supplied to the battery, removing even large deposits of crystallized lead sulfate. Sulfation is a common cause of battery failure. The MAXI-Life Pulse® “Re-activator” uses the latest microprocessor technology to produce the most reliable, micro-compact and affordable lifeline for all lead-acid battery & other applications.

Whether the battery is a wet or dry cell battery, or whether it is a gel-cell battery, the MAXI-Life Pulse® “Re-activator” will deliver remarkable performance and keep the battery performing well beyond it's normal life expectancy free of excessive sulfating.
The MAXI-Life Pulse® “Re-activator” unit should be installed permanently in close proximity to the battery. It can be mounted in a number of ways without the need any tools or technical expertise. It will automatically keep your battery in peak condition and permanently improving its performance. A single wire is fitted to each battery terminal. RED > +V / BLACK > -V (See image above. ) |
